Launch of the Python Niger Community

The Python Niger Community was born on 28 April 2024 at the Dan Dicko Dankoulodo University of Maradi (UDDM), under the auspices of the representative of the National Agency for the Information Society (ANSI), Dr Abdou S. Koroney.

This initiative came to life thanks to a developer from E-E Solutions who reached out to the Python Software Foundation to obtain official recognition of a Python community in Niger. Through this process, followed by a rigorous technical interview, Niger became one of the few recognized French-speaking Python communities.
